Basic High Availability -Redundant Data Storage
Redundant data storage decreases downtime by removing single points of
failure. INLINE storage arrays provide redundant power supplies, cooling
units, drives, data paths, and controllers. Servers attached to the INLINE
storage can include multiple connections, providing path failover capabilities.
The standard approach allows single components to fail without data loss
or accessibility. Storage controllers, drives, server host bus adapters,
cables, or power supplies can fail. It then becomes important to repair
or replace the failed component. The primary components are field replaceable
units (FRU), making them easily replaced. These FRU components are also
hot swappable. Once the components are replaced the system will return
to normal operation. Customers can be confident that their data and businesses
are safe with INLINE.
